Saxmundham became the hub of all of Deben Salt's operations and by 1998 Deben Salt had over 4000 customers to it's name coupled with an excellent reputation for exceptional service.
1998 - Deben Salt were approached by the largest UK Salt Manufacturuer and an acquistion between Salt Union and Deben Salt was formed. Retaining it's origins, Deben Salt continued to trade out of Saxmundham and Jonathan became Sales Manager of Salt Union.
